Pull the other one….it’s longer!

I found the following article but I’m not convinced this works still. I’ve no intention of trying it but has anyone out there actually done it and had success? We all see the before and after gym pictures but is there really anyway to improve what nature gave you in this sense? The bit about the giraffe women is fine but what happens when they take the rings off? Floppy head?

Penis stretching is not a new idea, but it is something more commonly discussed these days, thanks to the new medical advancements including penis capsules and penis devices.
Basically, stretching involves specific exercises or devices involving the penis, with the ultimate goal of increasing the length of your penis. It can be done by hand, or with the aid of machines or equipment, which is often referred to as “extender”. Nevertheless, stretching is one of the most tried natural penis technique in the world.

How does stretching enlarge the penis?
Penis stretching exercises or devices work in two ways: rebuilding and expanding the spongy bodies in the penis known as the corpora cavernosa and the corpus spongiosum, and, lengthening the ligaments of the penis, the main one being the suspensory ligament. A good example of ligament stretching can be seen in the women that belong to the Padaung tribe of Myanmar. Referred to as “Giraffe Women”, they are known for their extremely elongated necks. From an early age, these women wrap metal coils around their necks. Over time, as more coils are added, the necks are stretched ten inches or more in length.

Theories of penile stretching
There are two commonly accepted theories that attempt to further explain the mechanism of stretching of penis that eventually leads to increase in length and girth of the penis. The basic concept in both theories is same i.e. if we apply an action towards any living tissue; the tissue will react changing automatically to meet the challenge. In other words, if you stretch your penis at the right intensity and with the proper means of holding the penis, the living tissue will go through the following two processes:
1- New tissue generation causes lengthening of penis: Microscopic gaps between the penile tissue cells will be generated that are like small wounds, which in order to heal require the generation of new tissue cells (in practical terms this translates into penis lengthening).
2- Enhanced cross sectional area causes thickening of the penis: The overall cross section of the penis (its girth or width) will also have to increase so that the average tensile stress applied to a unit (a square inch) returns to an acceptable level(this would be the adjustment to an external action).Therefore the penis will also gain thickness.

Because of these two reasons, if one uses the stretching technique wisely and through proper stretching device or exercise (i.e. with the right grip of your penis, the right tensile stress, at the right amount of time and with the right precautions), one can gain considerable enhancement in inches, both in length and girth.
Many men start seeing changes in penis size within a few weeks. Some men have added up to an inch or more in less than a month. This is uncommon but not impossible. How quickly you see a result is entirely dependent on keeping up the exercises and following instructions closely.

What are the modern means of penile stretching?
Traditionally & conventionally, different kinds of penile lengthening exercises have been used to increase penis length and girth. These typically include jilqing, milking, pumping and other exercises. However, the major flaw with these methods is that these exercises are often very time consuming, require a lot of practice and efforts and do not guarantee sure results in majority of the people. Therefore, scientists and sexologists have been consistently trying to produce and improve such devices and instrumentations that could produce time-saving, cost-saving and effort-saving results in most human males. Following is a brief overview of some of the most frequently used modern means for penile stretching:

Penis stretching devices: These devices mainly include penis extenders. The purpose of the extender is to lengthen the penis by means of traction i.e. by simulating the human body’s natural reaction to the application of physical force. As a result, tissue cells react by multiplying and the tissue gradually expands, a principle utilized by various people for multiple doubling of the size of neck, earlobes and lips. When you use a penis stretching device such as extender, the same principal applies. The slow stretching of tissue in the penis will cause the tissue cells to split and re grow new tissue. The new tissue in the penis results in a longer and thicker penis. It should be, however, remembered that traction is only useful when used consistently over a long period of time. In other words, the amount of use is directly proportionate to the results that you will get. Therefore, if you wear the device for three hours per day, you will get nowhere the results that a man that is wearing the device for eight to ten hours per day. Consistency and regularity, therefore, maximizes the chances of better results in most people.
Finally, in today’s changing world, various means of penile stretching such as penis extenders and stretchers present a promising option coupled with both safety and efficiency. If used properly, these extenders will not only cause significant penile stretching but would also maximize the pleasures of sex.

One of the most credible & established advantages of the penis extenders is the predictable gains you can make. Tissue lengthening via traction is a scientific fact. And it is medically tested that growth will occur with the use of these devices. It is up to the user to wear it for the necessary hours to get the desired length. In other words, its benefits have been well-documented and researched in various clinical journals and published studies.
Following is a brief review of some of the major clinical or scientific studies that strongly support the use of penis extenders in order to increase size of the penis, especially its length.

Italian study
Published in the British Journal of Urology (Mar. 10, 2009), this study provides one of the most authentic, proven and established evidence and proof of the effectiveness of penis extenders. This specific study was done by the researchers from San Giovanni Battista Hospital at the University of Turin, Italy.
16 highly motivated patients, with an average age of 47, completed this 12-month study and were asked to wear the penis extender device for between four and six hours a day for six months. The men’s average flaccid penile length was 7.15cm (2.82 inches) and the average stretched penile length was 9.62cm (3.79 inches) at baseline.
Follow ups were performed in months one, three, six and 12. At the end of the study, results were simply astonishing.
It was found that after the 12 months of study:
• The men’s average flaccid penile length of 7.15cm (2.82 inches) had increased by 32 per cent to 9.45cm (3.72 inches)
• The men’s average stretched penile length of 9.62cm (3.79 inches) at baseline had increased by 18 per cent to 11.32 cm (4.45 inches)
The study also found that men who wore a penile extender every day for six months were able to increase the flaccid length of their penis by up to 32% and their erectile function by up to 36%.
High satisfaction levels were reported in all categories. The researchers concluded their findings by noting that “penile extenders should be regarded as a minimally invasive and effective treatment option to elongate the penile shaft in patients seeking treatment for a short penis”. This study clearly showed that the penile extender device produces an effective and durable lengthening of the penis, both in the flaccid and stretched state.

Scandinavian study
Another study was performed at the Scandinavian Clinic of Plastic Surgery, Copenhagen to evaluate penis stretching via stretching using a professional penis extender device. The study was presented at the
1st International Interdisciplinary Symposium on
Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery on April 6th, 7th and 8th 1998 – Barcelona, Spain. The results were incredible gains for all the subjects.
The study was done on 18 patients ranging from 23-47 years who wore the extender device for 12 hours daily, 7 days a week for up to a total duration of 8 to 24 weeks.
At the end of the study, the men averaged almost two inches in length increase over the course of four months. Researchers also found that the average lengthening of penis per week was 1.9 mm.

Canadian study
This promising study, conducted by the Canadian Journal of Phalloplasty, found that men who used traction-based devices achieved gains ranging between 32% and 36%.
The most noticeable feature of this study was that while reporting about a 32% increase in length of the penis (in both erect and flaccid length), a 36% increase in penis width (girth / thickness) was also found.
Patients in the clinical study were required to use the device for 6 to 8 hours per day, for a period of 5 months. It was also found that the results did not disappear once usage was stopped. Also, erectile strength is also increased with usage and treatment. Participants reported an average increase of 36% in erectile strength. (Measured via blood circulation and hardness)

Other studies
Another small study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine in 2008 found that a penile extender reduced penile curvature and added a little length to the penis.
In the light of the above-mentioned clinical studies and in this era of evidence-based medicine, it can be confidently concluded that that penile extenders or traction devices can effectively be used as an alternative means to penis surgery or augmentation.
