Hey everyone so I did a post about the new age of porn stars coming up through the ranks at the moment using the likes of OnlyFans and Snapchat etc, but I didn’t know why. That was until I watched a super cool yet disturbing interview by Anthony Padilla with the ex-porn star Mia Khalifa. On his YouTube channel the video is embedded below he spent a day with Mia and asked lots of probing questions. The crazy bit I found was the porn industry, unlike the standard film industry they just do flat rate payments. This meant the films Mia took part in earned her a little over $12000 in total but they have made the company over 50 million dollars. Mia signed the contract saying the company who filmed her videos, can use this footage for as long as they wanted and make so much more money.
How much do porn stars really get paid?
The porn industry actually uses fairly typical pay scales in straight flicks. This means you can expect to make:
- $800 for a woman-on-woman scene
- $1,000 for a man-woman scene
- $1,200 or more for anal sex
- $4,000 or more for “double penetration” Source
The new collection of porn stars and sex workers they are not signing contracts they are going out on their own and building their own business. The porn industry has seen this trend and some of the female-owned porn companies have started to change the way they work with new clauses on usage and fairer views.
Tabby a friend of You Only Wetter is a 18-year-old from the UK who has started out with her friends to get a slice of this new world, she has a collected over the last year a great collection of people willing and wanting to pay for her nudes. Tabby is 100% on OnlyFans “Not only has OnlyFans skyrocketed my self-confidence but all the content I makes is my own! I control what goes out and what doesn’t.” but her friend and co-star in a lot of her Girl on Girl shows, Lily is banking on Snapchat as the route for the fandom. They are both super cute and always pushing out new content. Yes, they are not just making the $800 and walking offset for this Girl on Girl but they are making so much more every time a client wants to see new stuff they pay anywhere from £5 to £50 depending on the content. This would have been great for Mia as her videos have been seen 3.7 billion times imagine the money she would have made.
We talked about in the last post about why you would pay to see nudes etc when you go to Gonewild, YouPorn, Redtube etc and look for free, the difference here is you are talking directly to the girls making the porn who doesn’t want to talk with the super cute girl or boy taking sexy pics for you. But this is where I want to go back to the Mia interview, she says that Porn has had some really negative sides on her real-life guys in the supermarket walking up and believing they own her body touching swearing and being a dick. Now after watching that you must be thinking are these mostly, teens who are posting online without contracts are going to be putting themselves at great risk, well no as Mia mentioned in that interview they are working for themselves if they want to stop its three buttons to pull there OnlyFans down and everything has been deleted.
